John Laurendeau is one of a handful of musicians keeping the Ondes Martenot alive (another, Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, has a higher profile). This video was made in advance of a performance of Olivier Messiaen’s “Turangalila-Sinfonie,” perhaps the instrument’s most renowned composition.
