If you’ve seen it before, watch it again and think about the intricacies of electro-mechanical motion vs. the flailing of the human heart. Machines (or electronic devices, etc.) made human is something Hallock Hill will explore. Stark relief to this was seen at the Animal Collective set at the All Points West festival. Here an array of metal boxes and plastic knobs became something wildly invigorating and trance-inducing.
