Greek Theatre (Sven Fröberg, Fredrik Persson), “Hold On,” unreleased
This version of the song differs from that on Greek Theatre’s MySpace page and provides an interesting comparison. Here, the oboe(?) takes on the lead role where the slippery electric guitar is in the MySpace version. The raked guitar chords are gorgeous. And the vocals immaculate. Songs just like this are constantly playing in my head. It is so good to actually hear one in the “real world.”
